Today I took a trek out to Venice Beach where I caught some breakfast with Danny Trejo, the homie Eric as well as the John from Heavy Hitters. Danny showed us this new breakfast joint called "Venice" and the breakfast was the fuckin' bomb. Of course, no breakfast tradition with Danny would be complete without splitting a full stack of banana pancakes on top of a regular breakfast order.  Check out the old school Bighouse shirt that Danny's rockin….a true O.G. collectors piece.  

Funny to think that this used to be a Hells Angels hangout back in the 70's. You're probably asking how the hell I know this piece of information since I was still a baby but that piece of historical information came from Danny who's a long time veteran of Venice Beach. 

Danny's always open for photo taking and autograph opportunities and he's one Hollywood actor that gives back to those who support him. I guess you could safely say that he's a fan of his fans and truly appreciative of everything he's got.  

There's something about Venice Beach that we like. Its probably the fact that everywhere you turn there's someone on the hustle and it's literally become a marketplace for hustlers to grab not only your attention but also  your dollar. From faith healers to tarot card readers there's a little something for everyone on the block and we even ran across this one dude that was waving at everyone holding up a sign that said, "FUCK YOU."

The best part of it all was once you tried to take a picture he'd flip the sign and ask for a dollar. Genius, if you ask me. Like I said, Venice is all about the hustle and its probably the same reason that Danny loves it there as well. If you know Danny, you'll know that he's not only genuine and humble but also always on the grind.
